This vinyl flooring is the epitome of luxury

Here’s a question for you: How crafty are you, because although we know luxury vinyl (LVF) as a flooring material, a lot of people also use it as a design tool on walls, and even as a craft vinyl on glass, wood, and plastics.

We stand behind our products and services, with a fully stocked flooring inventory; professional installation and free in-home measuring; and educational tools such as guides, glossaries, and our own design magazine.

Our showroom is in Geneva, Illinois and we service Algonquin, Lake in The Hills, Huntley, Crystal Lake, and Cary.

What is LVF?

The vinyl is a layered product, with an underlayment that provides more cushioning and a “springy” feeling. As a flooring, that makes it easier to stand on for long periods of time.

There’s an image layer that, thanks to high definition photography and other technological advances such as texturing features, make it a clear, multi-dimensional representation of wood, tile, or natural stone. The images are available in a wide assortment of species (even some exotics!), colors, finishes, patterns, and designs.

All kinds of natural stone looks are available, including marble, travertine, slate, quartz, and limestone.

Not just for flooring

As long as it’s completely dry and free of dirt and oils, the vinyl is fine for walls. In fact, it can add a touch of luxury and opulence to the bathroom, using a stone look as flooring, countertops, and walls.

You can also use the tiles to create accent walls and spectacular backsplashes that become the kitchen’s focal point.

As a craft vinyl, you can use it to decorate almost anything; right now, home weddings are trending as they offer both style and savings. Use it to create decorations, menus, guest party favors, etc.

A lot of benefits

  • Affordability: Luxury doesn’t necessarily translate to expensive and even though this is budget-friendly, it never looks cheap.
  • Easy care: It just takes a broom or vacuum with a soft brush attachment. For walls and other items, wipe it off with a soft, dry or damp, cloth.
  • Easy Installation: The vinyl “floats” over most existing surfaces with either a glue-down or click-and-lock method. For walls and other items, many of the tiles are peel and stick, but there are also several adhesives on the market; ask your flooring pro for a recommendation.
  • Durability: That tough clear wear layer protects both floor and walls from scratches and stains.
